At 1st Emsworth we run the Hollybank Drey to support young people aged 4 to 6 years of age. The Hollybank Drey meets on a Wednesday afternoon in term-time from 17:15 - 18:15.
Our Squirrel Scouts are led through story-based activities to experience what scouts have to offer. This approach allows for a fun and play-based approach to scouting that is both fun and exciting.
Our Squirrel Drey nights are focused on achieving the four Squirrel Challenge Awards alongside a minimum of 2 activity badges so that all Squirrels have the opportunity to achieve and receive the Chief Scout’s Acorn Award - the top accolade for Squirrel Scouts to wear on both their Squirrel uniform and Beaver uniform should they move up.
You don’t need a uniform to join. But once you’ve settled in, you’ll start speedily earning badges, and you’ll need to know where to put them!
